This tool is made for healthcare professionals in order to support the task of defining a TNM lung cancer stage on the basis of given diagnostic results. This lung cancer TNM staging tool reflects the latest guidelines, which the International Staging Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) developed in 2009 for the 7th edition of the TNM classification for lung cancer. The guidelines were accepted and published by the American Joint Commitee of Cancer
(AJCC) and the International Union Against Cancer (UICC).
