Latipics, powered by Google Latitude, allows for intelligent geotracking of existing pictures. It's an efficient mechanism to match the timestamp on a picture with the location history from Google Latitude.

** This app will only be useful if you have been registering your position with Google Latitude while shooting the pictures. This is commonly done using an app on your smart phone. **

Note that the picture itself is NOT altered in any way, only the metadata on the physical file is changed.

Once matched (using simple settings), the GPS information retrieved from Google Latitude will be stored within the image file (in EXIF data) and will be recognized by photo management softwares like iPhoto, Picasa, Aperture, etc...

Latipics is designed to be user-friendly:

Latipics 2.0 is the latest iteration in the Latipics series, originally developed for Mac and Windows. This new version is native to Mac and adds support for dozens of picture formats.
