Application Description
The LassoTag App and LassoTags use BTLE or “Smart Device” technology to connect and track your devices via your iPhone or iPad.
Place a LassoTag in a backpack, on a bike, or in your purse and always know if it’s near you and also where you last left it. LassoTag also supports movement notification, in the event your purse is picked up while connected to the LassoTag App on your iPhone or iPad you will be notified of its movement and the GPS location will be logged.
LassoTag App also allows local connection tracking for iOS devices 5.0 and greater. Simply install Lasso Tag on two or more devices. If you’re a college student and you need to leave your iPad while you step away for a moment – LassoTag will notify you if the iPad is moved or taken out of range.
**NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This is used to track the LassoTags location. Continued use of BlueTooth and BTLE connection can dramatically decrease battery life. This is used to maintain a connection with the LassoTags.
