Lap Timer designed for you by ioDigitalDesign and Be Out Front is the Lap Timer, Data Acquisition and new in 2.0 Video Logging app for iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4. For the casual lapper or the hard core racer Lap Timer will make you faster! It is great for cars, truck, motorcycles and bikes.
Lap Timer provides a ton of real time information to help keep you informed of your vehicle’s performance on the track. It is has been designed to look like dash mounted lap timers that only a few years ago were hundreds of dollars Plus it is built with features from race data acquisition systems that cost thousands of dollars. With optional video logging you now even more data at your finger tips.
Features include:
• Video Logging.
• Video composition of lap data over in car video.
• Video exporting of composited video and data.
• Big numerical displays that are easy to read at a glance.
• Elapsed lap time to the hundredth of a second.
• Real time lap predictor to estimate your next lap time.
• Lateral acceleration with peaks recorded up to 3 Gs.
• Braking and positive longitudinal acceleration.
• Current lap indicator.
• Previous lap time.
• Current direction in degrees.
• Current speed.
Plus you get 5 modes of Data Analysis
• Track map
• Altitude differentials.
• Lateral acceleration plotted against time.
• Transverse acceleration plot.

Optional Video Logging

• View video on the device with track data composited on top.
