The book of Tao Te Ching, also called Book of The Way, is considered the oldest manuscript ever written regarding sustainable living in harmony with nature and the universe. It was authored by Lao Tzu who was born in ancient China about 500 years before Jesus Christ.

As the most translated manuscript in human history only next to the Bible, the manuscript of Tao Te Ching has only 81 short chapters compared with 1,189 chapters of Bible. The book discusses issues from daily human affairs to remote, mysterious laws of universe. Also compared with Bible, the ethical standard and moral principles of the Tao Te Ching had have a fundamental influence on Zen Buddhism and Confucianism in China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and many other Asian countries.

The app is Zen-like illustrated and stunningly beautiful. In each chapter and for easier understanding, there are a few or at least one important picture to represent the crucial meaning of the original text.
