Application Description
With KidsMeasure, growing up becomes a bonding experience for parents and children.
The app rewards your child for growing up with cute animal trophies when it reaches certain development milestones. For each of your children, you can set a different animal theme as well as an individual picture frame to display the trophies. As parents, you can easily measure and track your child‘s growth over time and even compare it to official charts of the World Health Organization. KidsMeasure contains reference charts on height and weight development as well as on the body mass index.
Measuring body height with KidsMeasure is almost as simple as taking a picture. The app uses a sheet of plain paper hung up next to your child's head as a reference item and employs sophisticated computer vision techniques to automatically compute body height from head to toe. The sheet of paper is also used as a virtual picture frame to display the animal trophies.
Each measurement can be shared easily with friends and grand parents via major social networks and standard messaging services. With iCloud integration, all data is safely stored and can be taken easily from one device to the next.
