KeyLauncher is not an ordinary Launcher … I developed to launch my favorite items very quickly and as simple as possible … KeyLauncher allows you to launch applications, music playbacks, AppleScripts and to open documents by simply pressing and holding an alphabetic or a numeric key on your keyboard. Imagine you can launch iTunes, iCal and iPhoto using only the 'I' Key ! it's easy to launch and it's easy to remember too :-)
Here is how it works : in the KeyLauncher preferences panel you associate one or more actions (open an application, a document or a music folder for example) to an authorized key on your keyboard. It's very easy to launch one of these actions : you press and hold this key to scroll through its associated actions on the screen, and when the action you want to trigger is displayed, you simply release the key !
Also KeyLauncher will give you the opportunity to control the playback of your favorite albums.
One exemple among many others, you can associate your favorite music albums with numeric keys on your keyboard and launch your ten albums of Mozart with the 0 key and your ten favorite Rock albums with the 1 key etc...
Remember KeyLauncher is only compatible with Lion !
