Kart Tools is a very powerful application for every karter out there who wants to take their kart racing program to the next level!  We have gone to great lengths to make this application as complete as possible.  With many features NOT found in any other karting applications in the App store.

Timing:  Our robust, multi-featured stopwatch, has many benefits not found in popular mechanical stopwatches.  These features include the ability to easily time multiple karts simultaneously, as well as keep complete and detailed kart setup information for each of those karts. An invaluable tool for the mechanic with multiple drivers. Also, one of the most powerful features of this stopwatch is the ability to split the track into sectors.   You can pick as many points on the track as you like and record detailed sector times of your driver.  Also, time your competitor's sector times to find out where they are fast.  This is a essential tool for diagnosing your lap times and figuring out where you need to focus your attention on your setup.  

Analysis:  Compare lap times between multiple drivers with our lap time charts.  Compare the 10 fastest laps of multiple drivers from multiple sessions, fastest averages of those drivers, and use a really cool line graph to show lap times vs. lap #.  This will show you the progression of all compared drivers lap times throughout that session.  This enables you to understand how long it takes you or your rival to get up to speed!  For individual lap analysis there is a spreadsheet that lists your sector times and lap times highlighting the fastest times from each sector, with a summary at the bottom with sector averages, and theoretical fastest lap.

Kart Setup:  We have a detailed and complete kart setup logging tool.  This is the backbone of the application.  This allows you to easily keep detailed records of your complete kart setup for each session that you are out on track.  Settings include: chassis make and model, track width, caster, camber, toe, front and rear ride heights, axle length, size, diameter, and stiffness, ackerman settings, tire pressures, tire make and compound, tire roll out, wheel size and type.  We also have some great calculators built in, including a weight calculator that will calculate front and rear percentage, and left and right side percentages.  The engine settings page has a gear / speed calculator that enables you to input maximum and minimum RPM's, gear ratio, and rear circumference to calculate min and max speed.  Make a change to the rear gear and see how many RPM's you would need to gain to go the same speed.  Carburator settings that can be stored include: carb type, intake filter device, main jet, pilot jet, needle type and position, air screw, venturi, emulsion tube, and low and high speed screw settings.

Web integration:  We have built this application to export the data to www.karttools.com, enabling the user to upload data, and analyze it on a larger screen and create printouts.  This service keeps your info secure so that you don't have to worry about losing that valuable information that you worked so hard to get!
