Kaboom is the best way to manage how much time you or anyone else plays on your phone or tablet. The smart app timer uses simple ‘rest’ and ‘play’ timers so that you can make sure that your brain and eyes get the rest they deserve. Looking at screens can be extremely tiresome and Kaboom was created to prevent that from happening. You may be worried about yourself or others getting headaches, eyestrain or worse... so using Kaboom is the best solution.

With Kaboom, you can limit the time someone can ‘play’ on your tablet or smartphone, ranging from anywhere from 5 minutes to nearly 24 hours. You can then set the rest time from anywhere from 5 minutes to nearly 24 hours. When ‘Play Time’ is up, the user of the device shall receive an alert - a kaboom - commanding that it is time for a rest. The device can then be set to rest for the allocated time.

A parental lock can also be set so that the application cannot be turned off or altered by anyone without knowing the 4-digit-passcode. This can be turned off or changed at demand depending on who is using the device.

Kaboom is easy to use - simply turn the switch on or off whenever you would like the application to be active. When turned on, the Kaboom App Timer shall tell you when play time started and when it is scheduled to end. Tap the Settings icon in the top right of the screen to edit the two time-frames or to enable parental lock. When finished, tap back to turn on the timer.

Note: The latest version v1.1 fixes the issues reported by Kaboom users in the previous versions. Some people have reported that the app does not work on iPad mini. While we have fixed it in v1.1, there may be some specific iOS version out there.
