JSS Mobile allows you to access information in your JAMF Software Server (JSS) from your iPhone. The JSS is the central server for both the Casper Suite and the Recon Suite. The Casper Suite is a Client Management solution designed specifically for the Mac platform, offering incredible breadth and depth for supporting Mac OS X. The Recon Suite, a subset of the Casper Suite, is a cross-platform asset management solution solution that gives you inventory, licensing and contract management.


The JSS Mobile application has a springboard that allows you to access different parts of your JSS. At the top of your springboard, you have iPhone native views into your JSS. You are able to search and view the Mac and Windows computers that are inventoried in your JAMF Software Server. This allows you to have access to virtually any aspect of a computer through the iPhone's familiar touch screen interface, including:

- Hardware information such as Serial Number, MAC Address and Processor
- Operating System version and available Software Updates
- Location information such as username, email address and phone number
- Purchasing Information such as vendor, PO Number, warranty date and purchase price
- Installed Applications and Licensed Software

Using the JSS Mobile application requires one of the following products:

- The Casper Suite 7.3 or later
- The Recon Suite 7.3 or later
