If you are a saltwater fisherman in the northeastern United States, then this app is for you. If you've ever spent more than 30 seconds rummaging in your cabin for this year's regulations, this app is for you. If you've ever had that nice printout of state regulations blow overboard, then this app is for you.
This application is a reference for the state marine fishing regulations of 18 species for the five major northeastern coastal states. Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New York regulations are included.
The species included in this version are Summer Flounder (Fluke), Winter Flounder, Black Sea Bass, Scup (Porgy), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Blackfish, Shad, Weakfish, White Perch, American Eel, Atlantic Cod, Haddock, Pollock, Monkfish, Witch Flounder, Yellowtail Flounder, and Atlantic Halibut.
Regulations will be regularly updated throughout the year. When 2009 regulations are published (most likely March or early April), the app will be updated for free with the most recent regulations.
