iTea, an app for tea-lovers.
iTea covers a wide selection of different teas. It gives brewing advice for the true tea connoisseur.
In addition to being a classic timer it includes the perfect tea-function. This shows the correct brewing time for each individual tea. It gives information about the correct water temperature that should be used It calculates how long boiling water should be left to cool to the ideal temperature.* Since iTea version 3.0.0 perfectTea function supports iOS Multitasking and you can share your tea with your friends on facebook, if you want it.
iTea´s database currently includes more than 75 different teas, such as Nilgiri Blue Mountain, Yen Bai, Gyokuro or Sencha. Mainly green or black leaf teas. The app will be regularly updated to add further teas. You can also add your own teas to a database.
* The water cooling calculations are an approximation. They will differ in real life dependent on height and air temperature. The calculations are based on heights up to 1500 metres and air temperature at 20°c.
