itarget is an earnings or growth planning tool. You set your target amount and your timescale, and it produces a clear outline showing what you need to achieve and when.

The calculation is based on a steady growth formula (known as compound growth), meaning you have a fixed yearly growth rate (see the screenshots for an example).

It's easy to use - you just enter your current and target amounts, and specify when you want to earn it. Your plan is then calculated, and displayed as a table.

The plan can also be emailed (in printer friendly black and white) with a single touch.

Why compound growth?

Compound growth is the best way to plan your targets, here's an example showing why:

Say you earn $10,000 and your target is $50,000 in 4 years. Without compound growth you need a $10,000 pay rise every year, so in year 1 you need a hard-to-achieve 100% pay rise. In year 4 you go from $40,000 to $50,000 - only a 25% increase, so your growth has slowed right down.

With compound growth, you need an increase of 49.53% every year. This means steady growth, and much easier planning!
