Italk4U is an application that helps people deprived of speech or with slurred speech to communicate better. It is mainly addressed to disabled people (disabled, aphasic, suffering from head trauma, stroke,…).
Easy to use, Italk4U allows you to compose sentences by selecting images corresponding to a pre-recorded word. You can also import your own pictures or photos to create your own words and phrases.
Italk4U can be used by a wide audience: from children to elderly people, from able to disabled persons and self- dependent people. The assistance of another person may however be necessary in some cases to record new sounds and create new words.
In its full version, Italk4U comes with a database of more than 315 pre-recorded words and allows you to create as many words as you want (within the limits of the memory of the iPad used). It is operational immediately after download.
A demo version (Italk4UFree) is available for testing. It has all the features of the full version, but limits the number of words that can be recorded.

N.B. for users of iPad 2 : in oder to get Italk4U successfully installed, it is recommended to restart your iPad before the fist start of the application.
