Appointments can only be started on time, if previous events have finished on time.

Sometimes it's just not possible to finish meetings punctually, whether they be private or at work - especially if we're personally involved. The tradeoff between the continual monitoring of time spent and our intellectual participation in the meeting often leads to failure to finish in a timely fashion.

iStop allows you to easily set the length of the meeting (eg 30 minutes) or the time at which the meeting should end on your touchscreen device. At a pre-defined time (pre-set to 5 minutes) before the due end time the screen colour changes to yellow and get's progressively more red every minute. A large clock is used to display the last minutes - every minute a tone and vibration effect can be heard, the length of which increases as time progresses. Once the timer has timed out, three tones are emitted and the displayed clock begins to show the time overrun in red.

The alarm signals can, of couse, be set individually so that, for example, only a vibration signal is heard, thereby offering a discrete solution when the device is in a pocket.

The obvious advantage of such a solution - especially for meetings - is that if the device is running iStop, whether it be on a smartphone or tablet device, in full view of all participants, then the meeting is more likely to come to a natural conclusion on-time.
