Application Description
Our mission is to "Guard What's Real". Before you buy, online or in the store, you should be able to check if your item is genuine. This is especially important when you buy over the counter or prescription drugs!
This initial version of our app is offered to check for recalls from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Also, you can scan the UPC code on your drug or key in the National Drug Code (NDC) written on the package. The FDA requests all drug manufacturers to display the registered NDC. Information about the product, its effects, details of the Active Ingredient (API) and more are displayed. If you don't find the NDC when you check, please see the Anti-Counterfeit Tips provided to learn how to be sure your drug is safe and genuine.
