Application Description
iSmart Kids ID is a digital ID app that allows you to store vital information about you or your child that can be accessed or updated very easily. You can also share this info with caretakers or police/FBI as needed. It is the official app of My ID Club.org. My ID Club issues photograph/fingerprint safety ID cards, FREE of charge, to children under 16 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian. We welcome everyone to use this app and keep your family safe.
Over 2000 children are reported missing every day. The first 30 minutes after a child is lost are very crucial. In addition to contacting police, the app can be used for saving health and insurance info on a daily basis.
App details for your child:
- Provide info to adult caretakers, babysitters, grandma, aunt, et.al.
- In case child is injured, have medical, insurance and emergency contact info readily available
- In case child is temporarily separated from the adult, have critical info about the child ready to pass on to police, or other security personnel
For you:
- Store your medical, insurance and emergency contact info to have easy access in the event of an emergency
Examples of information stored include:
ICE: In Case of Emergency Info
- Name, Age, Medical Conditions, Allergies, Prescriptions, Emergency Contacts, etc.
Insurance and other Information reduces the number of cards in your wallet
- Health, Home, Auto, etc.
- Notes field for your own instructions to caretakers or to describe the child in more detail
Email info:
You can email your child's health and medical information or all information, including Insurance info to caretakers, medical personnel or others.
Print info:
You can email your child's info to yourself and take a print out if needed.
The “MY ID CLUB” is a FREE community service sponsored by the Public Safety Employees #519/King County Police Union.
The “MY ID CLUB” was started in 1997. Our idea was to issue photograph/fingerprint safety ID cards, FREE of charge, to children under 16 years of age when accompanied by a parent or guardian. We also provide 911 coloring and activity books, 911 refrigerator magnets, 911 stickers & decals, carrying bags and our child safety manuals.
Our reasons for providing the service (and app) are:
- Bridge the gap between children and law enforcement.
- Make children feel safer and more important.
- Make parents feel safer.
- Provide critical information in case of injury to the child.
- Provide an avenue that critical information can be passed to another adult (physical card or email) who may be watching or caring for the child, Grandma, Aunt, babysitter, etc.
- Great tool for children (ID cards or Kids with phone/Touch) to have in case they are lost or separated from their parent or guardians on class trips, on vacation, shopping in a crowded mall, etc.
- Great tool for parents to have if their child becomes temporarily lost, the ID card or info via email can be provided to security/police agency immediately.
