iSimply is a lightweight data analysis tool focusing mainly on continuous, quantitive data sets on this v1.0. It has 2 main functions:

A. (Non-Scientific) Calculator (+, -, *, /, %, ^, Sqrt, Mod, nPr, nCr, !, and ( )).

-For operator functions, review the followings.:
a. You can do the followings:
(-3 +5)*2 + 8
Sqrt(1 + 9 + 2 + 4)
Sqrt 16
3 * Sqrt 16
5 + 11 + (4 nPr 3)
(3 + 2 + 1) !
(3 + 2 + 1) / (1 + 2)
50 %
100 * 50% (afterwards use a slider to change % value.)
10 Mod 2 (gives a remainder.)
4 nPr 3
4 nCr 3
4 ^ 2
...

b. Something to be aware of:
You can't have a parenthesis inside a parenthesis.
What's open, should always be closed: (3 + 11 - 8).

c. Reminder!:
3 + 4 nPr 3 NOT EQUAL TO 3 + (4 nPr 3) but
3 + 4 nPr 3 EQUAL TO 7 nPr 3

- An additional feature of STORE/POP/DELETE on the Calculator.:
a. You can store either Class Intervals or any numeric value computed to recall it later.
b. POP is not LIFO CS function, but purely to retrive what's stored. Press POP and choose one to use it as a calculator entry (on STAT, it works only as a display.).

c. DELETE any to reclaim the storage.

- A calculator also functions as a key pad for stat data entries.

B. Basic Statistics for the analysis of continuous, quantitive data sets: This is a basic analysis learning tool by experimenting with a small set of data (max. 150 entries) in four steps.:

1. Storing Class Intervals,
2. Entering Data (max length 8 including "."),
3. Defining a Data Set,
4. Visualizing a Data Set.

a. To use a data set and data visualization feature, first store class intervals: Enter 0 (this value really doesn't matter because the app will pick up data belong to this interval automatically) and press STORE. At the alert view, enter interval -100/0 (or this kind - two numeric values separated by "/" ), press OK. Do the same to retain other class intervals.

b. Switch to STAT, and enter data value using calculator keyboard, press NEXT to validate. You can edit any of them by setting EDIT switch. Press NEXT or BACK to find the data value you like to edit, then enter new value and press NEXT. The item has been updated and next item will be seen on the entry board. Type "00" and press NEXT to delete any. (***Turn off the EDIT switch to continue entering data.)
When you are ready, press DATA SETS on the navigation bar. On the DATA SETS page, you'll see that all the data entry info has been transferred. Press ??? to choose a class, press + button to define. which one to enter first doesn't really matter s ce the app will place them in order automatically each time and find the # of data in each interval. When all is ready (NAME is required), then SAVE. To check, press Data Sets. It wil show what's on the storage. To check the data visualization, go back to the main calculator and press VISUALIZATION button. By default, it is set to show a histogram. For a bar chart, new interval with equal range will be created and displayed.

***To fully utilize your own data entries, in DATA SET page, you may like to create multiple data sets using the same data entries with different classes. If you can make use of it, it is something to consider for your own advantage.

For graphs, you can see different data set graph by pressing BACK or NEXT (a histogram by default), and different interval graph details on each data set by pressing arrow buttons.

***Known issues with a graph: when you press arrow buttons, at times a graph disappears. It comes back if you press it 1-2 times again.

Targeted Users:
A. teachers and students. (This tool could create a great conversational/discussion materials between a teacher and students.)
B. anyone who seek for a lightweight data analysis/visualization experience from a continuous, quantitive data set with a limited # of data entries.
