Meet iShareRides
iShareRides is the creation of 2 entrepreneurs in Singapore. We, like most people, love taking cabs but hate paying for the big bills that follow.
We believe that with little effort, not only can we save money, but also do our bit for the environment by sharing rides. Whether it’s sharing a taxi, or just sharing a car/bike ride to work, school or the airport, iShareRides has something to offer to all!
In just a few minutes, if you can share a ride and save money, then why travel alone? iShareRides lets you ‘ride-pool’ with other users so you can travel cheaper and smarter. Do your bit for the environment and help reduce road traffic. Ride Smart! Go Green! Share & Save!

How it works
1. Register a username when you run the app for the first time (subsequent automatic login)
2. Search – Fill in From & To locations followed by the Time of travel (e.g. Today/Tomorrow between 9:00 pm and 9:30 pm). Fill Repeat for repeated requests (e.g. every Monday to Friday etc.)
*Note: Please ensure you search for addresses, that are within the country in your phone ‘Settings’
3. View your results! If there are immediate results, the built-in chat function lets you send messages instantly to exchange information with other users. Notifications alert you to future results
4. Notifications button can be used from any tab (on top right of screen) to view notifications, chose the user, and start a chat window
5. Need to simply see what all other users are looking for? Tap View all Searches for a comprehensive list of other users’ searches and choose one that matches your needs! Results are sorted by date and distance of other user from your locations
6. Rate users (on a scale of 1 to 5) based on your experience
