The iPad-App „iSailtracker“ serves as a tool for the documentation of sailing trips. This App enables you to convert the route which was sailed in KML-Format for further use. The display of the route is done in real time.

Multiple saved tracks can be sampled as an unit; this sample can be annotated with a title. The sample can be converted into a PDF-file, which is ready for further action (printing, creating an email).

In addition to the automatic recording and display of the positions, there may be added further information manually to the routing.
The App runs on all iPads, starting with the iPad 2 (GPS device)
Functions

The following data is displayed when the App is running, even if not recording
+ Name of the trip
+ Current position
+ Quality of current position
+ UTC time extracted from the GPS-signal
+ Current speed and maximum speed
+ Current bank angle
+ Name of the file into which the track is
recorded and quantity of the recorded
positions
+ Display of target coordinates with distance and
heading to target
+ Preview of picture files (screenshots and
photos taken by the built-in camera)
