Application Description
IPFone application connects your iPhone to your hosted PBX or residential service and allows you to make and receive calls over 3G or Wi-Fi connection. Since these calls utilize a 3G or Wi-Fi connection, users can save money on local and long distance cellular calls. Essentially, this application extends all the features of the Phone System out to mobile employees carrying Smartphone. If you are residential user, now you can carry your home phone number with you and make and receive call as you were seating in your living room.
In order to configure this application to work you need to have an existing account opened with IPFone (www.ipfone.com).
1. If you are a existing IPFone customer, call Tier 1 support @ 877-781-6280, or go to our website for instructions (additional charges may apply).
2. If you are not a IPFone customer, please call 1-888-IPFone-2 to open a new account (charges apply).
Notes:
a. This is a SIP client software on iPhone. You need to have a account with IPFone – ISN Telcom.
b. Some mobile network operators may prohibit or restrict the user of VoIP functionality over their network, and may impose additional fees, or other charges in connection with VoIP. Please check with your service provider before using this application over 3G o 4G.
c. This application works on both iPhone and iPod touch.
