iPerfectPutt is a putting training aid for golfers that uses the motion sensors on your iPhone/iPod to capture and analyze your putting strokes.

The iPerfectPutt app is designed to help you sink putts and analyzes your stroke based on line and weight. In order to hit a perfect putt, you need to hit the ball on the right line (correct swing plane, clubface orientation and centered hits on the clubface) and with the right weight (maximum backswing angle and tempo), regardless of your stroke type.

The iPerfectPutt app analyzes your stroke relative to a perfect reference stroke (one of yours or a pendulum), for a given line and weight by measuring 5 elements of the putting stroke (6 if you add detecting off-center hits) : clubface rotation, tempo, swing plane, putt weight and clubhead speed.

This app can help you on a putting green, to figure out why you are missing a specific putt (straight, breaking or lag). All you have to do is square the clubface with the line of the putt (the line is easy to mark while practicing) and the app will analyze the rest.


The free iPerfectPutt features provide the following measurements of your putting strokes:

• Swing tempo (backswing/downswing durations)
• Swing plane deviation* (inside/outside)
• Clubface angle deviation (open/closed)
• Putt weight* (backswing angle, clubhead speed)

iPerfectPutt also provides a free and adjustable metronome to help you practice your swing tempo.

Additional features can be purchased from the in-app store:

• Saving captured strokes** to be used as a reference

• Frame-by-frame simulation** of your captured stroke, showing how it compares to a reference stroke**

The realtime auditory feedback let's you know sonically that your putting stroke was perfect by producing NO sounds during the stroke! If you hear a sound, one of the elements of your stroke (the one you have selected) has deviated from a reference stroke you are trying to replicate.
