Application Description
Inventory Photos is a unique and intuitive visual inventory app for the iPhone. iOS 5 compatible, Inventory Photos enables the swift and accurate log of possessions, faults and damages using date-stamped, watermarked, high definition images.
+ To start using simply register on www.inventoryphotos.com to acquire your unique username and password.
The user interface features a small set of icons. Simply press the icon relative to your subject. Either store images locally on your device or opt to upload and store tamper-proof images on our secure server for future reference. In this case, your images are geo-tagged with a time, date and GPS location.

GETTING STARTED

Download the app, register for a username and password at www.inventoryphotos.com and start using straight away. Inventory Photos is an extremely instinctive tool to use; it simply features a small set of icons as follows:
+ Press the House Icon (zooming in on icon) and capture geo-tagged images of all manner of possessions prior to collection to highlight and prove condition.
+ The Car, Motorcycle and Boat Icons – These are all designed with prompts to the user to take pictures of specific areas of their subject.
+ The Jewellery Icon allows you to capture and store images of valuables. These date, time and GPS stamped images can be made available to Insurers as proof of ownership in the unfortunate event of any claim.
+ The Warehouse and Office Icon allow for the creation of simple surveys of any office or commercial premises. We also have plans to implement Video capture into Inventory Photos in the near future.
+ The Packing Crate/Carton Icon – Photograph cartons and crates prior to collection to demonstrate correct construction and loading.
+ The For Rent Icon enables the user to register the exact condition of a property prior to rental or leasing terms. It provides invaluable photographic evidence to both tenants and landlords in the event of a dispute regarding dilapidations.
+ And finally the Flower Icon – Let your imagination run free. Use this to record anything miscellaneous, anything bespoke.

Access onto the Inventory Photos website is available following registration with payment via Paypal. Corporate users will be provided access to their own specific accounts and billed monthly based on volume of data stored.
With a 30-day free trial, Pro Users acquire a licence subscription over a one year period.

The Inventory Photos website found at www.inventoryphotos.com will also be available for Insurance companies wishing to record salvage: A claimant will upload photographs of any salvage items onto Inventory Photos to declare them a total loss.
These images are also geo-tagging with GPS location and time and date stamped. With the addition of watermarking for added security, the likelihood of tampering is largely prevented.
