The animations contained in Craytonium Interactive Notes: Physiology Goldman / Nernst membrane calculator app are available for users of the iPad.
The Goldman/Nernst Membrane Calculator app simulates the core physiological processors that occur during the maintenance of the resting membrane potential with clean and clear animations. These animations move in response to the calculations derived from the Goldman-Hodgkin-Katz equation and the Nernst equation. Each animation can also be viewed individually within the “membrane transport” menu.
This is a developing project that will progress to include all physiological processors that can be suitably visualised on mobile tablet and mobile devices. The principle physiological processors throughout the different organs of the body will be added in due course. All academic teaching tools are peer-reviewed through the same process as international science journals.
