The innovation indicator is compiled by a consortium of three institutes: the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (Fraunhofer ISI), the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) and the Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology at the University of Maastricht (MERIT). The study ranks 28 national economies on the basis of 38 individual indicators which are relevant to describe the innovation capability of a country. This app offers real added value: besides lots of extra information, the app can be used to compare the individual countries and topics of the study with each other.
