Nippon is another, more formal name for Japan, normally called Nihon in Japanese.
iNippon is a new great app for exploring Japan with your iDevice and discover new interesting things you didn't know before.
The free version of iNippon has limited access to content. Upgrade within the app to unlock all features and content.
iNippon is based on the book "The Japanese-English Dictionary for Conversation about Japan" written by Yoshiyuki Araiso and Jean Moore and published by Obunsha.
The book contains almost 500 "Words", like traditional things, foods, events, customs, etc. All Word entries come with a conversation, fact text and/or illustration. It also contains around 500 idioms, the 47 prefectures of Japan and almost 100 of the main historical events in Japanese history.

All texts are in both English and Japanese which makes it a perfect tool for studying Japanese while learning about Japan at the same time. Of course, knowledge of the Japanese language is not required, you can enjoy this app using only English as well.
