Application Description
Organize your information. Create lists, build records, flesh out ideas, make checklists, record timelines of children and pets. Highly flexible using your own templates designed to suit your own needs.
Indexed Lists is a two level information organizer. The initial concept of an 'Indexed List' was that of a physical record book with A to Z tabs down the right hand side and written entries on each page. The app extends this concept further by supporting two levels of entries.
In addition to simple alphabetic ordered lists there are two more list types: checklists and timelines. Checklists are great for todo and shopping lists. Timelines allow you to create date ordered lists with photos, these make a great record of children and pets especially when you automatically include their age when the entry was made.
Within each list type you create 'templates', that is you choose the attributes that you wish to use in a list for the main entries and sub-entries. Multiple templates may be created for any list type, templates can be altered as your requirements become clearer.
The attributes you choose can include text, paragraphs, ratings, numbers, dates, currency, internet links as well as 'Photos' which allows you to attach multiple photos from either your library or the camera. Two derived data types 'Age' and 'Age Added' allow you to specify an attribute which is calculated from another attribute.
The app also recognizes internet links, phone numbers and email addresses in paragraph contents and provides hot links for them.
