Impero is a powerful, easy to use and affordable computer lab and network management solution. This free Apple iPad/iPhone app gives your current Impero installation a new dimension. It introduces an entirely new and intuitive student interface, as well as providing privileged users access to the powerful Console interface along with some enhancements and new features.

The Student interface allows guests and students using iPads and iPhones to become part of your network. Guests will have the following features available to them:
1. Receive and view live video broadcasts from multiple sources.
2. Participate in live chat forums between large groups of users.
3. Receive rich text messages.
4. Receive and complete examinations.
5. Answer quick questions/votes.
6. Complete and tick off tasks with completion notifications for the sender.

The Console interface allows you to control your Impero network on the go and provides the following useful features:
1. View groups as a collection of live thumbnails.
2. Remote control client computers.
3. Save screenshots locally.
4. Lock/unlock client computer screens.
5. Enable/disable internet access.
6. Send messages.
7. Run websites/files/programs remotely on clients.
8. End client sessions (log off, restart and shut down).
9. View useful client information such as operating system, IP address etc.
10. View recent Impero policy violations.
11. Create, save and send examinations to clients.
12. Monitor the progress of client examinations in real time.
13. Actions can be performed on single users or whole groups of users.

Please note that this software requires you to have Impero version 3.2.01 or later installed on your workstations and an Impero version 3.2.01 or later server.

Also note that unlike typical Impero workstation installations, the apps use is purely voluntary which means you can not force an iPad or iPhone user to view a broadcast for example.
