Application Description
The official iMedia Summits geo-fencing application, created specifically for iMedia Summit attendees.
This app gives iMedia Summit attendees the opportunity to go hands-on with a hot new tech: geo-fencing.
When installing the app, DO allow push notifications. They’ll be used sparingly, but are a major element in the geo-fencing experience.
Please also use the email address you used to register for the event, and enable your bluetooth.
This application will only be used during the iMedia Summit hours, and will not send messages at other times. Please note: this application does not have the ability to track you. It only knows when you pass one of five beacons we’ll have located at the Summit. It will be unable to identify any information about you outside the Summit experience.
iMedia Geo uses the Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth Smart) feature of your phone.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
