Application Description
The ImageNet app is a scientific demonstration, showcasing recognition of 1.000 types of objects within seconds on a mobile phone. Among the 1.000 objects, try taking a picture of e.g. your keyboard, your sunglasses, your watch, or a traffic sign.
The 1000 objects that the app can recognize are part of the ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge 2013.
ImageNet version 1.0 runs on all devices with iOS 7. On an iPhone 5s/iPad Air/iPad Mini Retina, a picture is typically classified in 4 seconds. On older devices this can take up to 1 minute. No WiFi or cellular connection is used, your pictures are NOT sent to a server.
