iHanzi is a new and exciting app that will help you to improve your Chinese Mandarin vocabulary, character recognition and pronunciation.
It will be useful for students of Chinese Mandarin at all levels and help prepare for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) or The Test Of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL).
Did you study Chinese in the past and want to brush up on your characters? This will be the right tool for you.
iHanzi will teach you to recognize, visualize and practice pronunciation of Chinese characters

Chinese Mandarin is different from other languages in that a word or character cannot be pronounced by just looking at it (as in most Western languages that use an alphabet). Instead, a character's pronunciation will have to be learned by reading the phonetical spelling which makes a Chinese flashcard three dimensional - hanzi, pinyin and English. iHanzi separates and tests the students memorization of this.
