Application Description
Simple and Addictive Game Finder.Find all the games nearby you,Option to create new games..You can even join games..So hurry up!!I GOT NEXT, did u??
Project Features:
1. Registration: A person registers by signing into their Facebook profile upon first login. This will not post any message on the Facebook profile.
2. Phone Location Usage: The user will need to allow the application to use their location in order locate the closest games and provide accurate distances.
3. Finding Game: The user will search for the closest games by clicking “Find Game”. This will query the system to find a max of 10 games within their area (area might be configurable by Miles Away). List appears with games sorted by distance. Each record shows the number of current players, length of game, and distance from current location. Upon clicking a game (record) it expands and the user has the option to “Join” or “Directions”. If “Join” is clicked they are added to the game. The user then has to option to post to Facebook or Twitter or both; the “Directions” button is still available.
4. Create Game: The user has ability to create game as well from landing page. Upon clicking “Start Game” they will be prompted to enter in location (by entering either intersection, exact address, current location, or drop pin on map). After location they enter in the number of players. Finally after hitting “Create” the user is prompted to post the game to Facebook, twitter, or both.
5. Invite Friends: The user will have the option to invite friends after joining or creating a game. The friends list is pulled from Facebook. The button will be next to the “Post to” buttons. Upon clicking they will be able to send a notification to that friend.
6. Receiving Invite: The user who receives an invite will load the application with the specific game showing. The number of players and length will show. The options will include “Join”, “Find Different Game”, and “Directions”. Once clicking “Join” they will get the same option as the other users (Post to Facebook or Twitter and Directions).
7. Game Record Display: The game display will show the name as the location either exact address, intersection, or known park name. The game display will always show the distance to user, number of players, and length of game.
8. Facebook/Twitter Post about Games: If a user clicks “Post” the message will be standard across the board. “I am [starting/joining] a pickup basketball game at [Location]. Download or Sign-in to I Got Next! in order to join.”
9. Profile: Users will be able to access a profile menu in the top right corner. Within the profile screen they can log out and login to different Facebook profile, link twitter account (switch twitter account). They also can pull up their past games in order to create a game at a previously used court.
10. Directions: Provide the user directions in the application to the desired court from their current location.
