Only $0.99! Developed by a bariatric surgeon, iGastric Band is a simple application that allows the user to keep track of the current volume (fill) in her/his gastric band.
Simply, when you start the application for the first time, enter the name of the gastric band that your bariatric surgeon operated in you, as well as the maximum capacity in ml (cc) of the band's balloon. This app will work with any adjustable gastric band, even those which are not currently used by bariatric surgeons anymore.

Every time you visit your health care provider for a follow up visit, enter the amount of fluid that you receive ("Fill"), or that is removed from your band ("Unfill"). If you do not have a fill or an unfill, choose "No change".
On every visit (event), you enter your current weight (in either pounds or kilos) as well as the date of the visit. The latest entered event is displayed at the top of the list.
In case the current volume exceeds the total capacity of your band, the application will warn you by displaying the current volume in red . Any event can always be deleted in case of error.

This application will be handy for all gastric band patients who want to keep track of their weight loss and the amount of fluid in their band. It will also be of help in emergency visits, especially when a new health care provider will have to assess the situation. The name of the band as well as the current volume will be highly appreciated!
