Description
iFlightPlanner for iPad presented by Sennheiser is an integrated extension of the iFlightPlanner suite of products that allows pilots to download flights planned on the iFlightPlanner website into an iPad for reference enroute.
Please Note: iFlightPlanner currently only supports US flight planning, however, iFlightPlanner for iPad does support worldwide GPS tracking. Look for more international-enabled features in our upcoming updates!

The initial release of iFlightPlanner for iPad is not a stand-alone flight planning application but rather an interactive flight document that is designed to provide pilots access to weather information while on the ground, and all relevant routing, navigation, and airport information while in flight. By leveraging our robust web-based flight planner with the portability of the iPad we ultimately help pilots plan more efficiently and fly safer.
Once a flight is completed, iFlightPlanner for iPad provides the ability to electronically close flight plans and log flight details into your iFlightPlanner logbook.
Features of iFlightPlanner for iPad include:
• Fully-integrated with the iFlightPlanner suite of web and mobile products, allowing pilots to sync flights planned on the iFlightPlanner website into an iPad for reference in-flight
• Seamless, georeferenced VFR Sectional, TAC and IFR Low/High enroute charts
• Color-coded route corridor weather with access to latest METARs, TAFs, TFRs, AIRMETs and SIGMETs
• GPS-enabled moving map
• Comprehensive Airport/Facility Directory
• Airport diagrams, runway information, IFR approach plates, SIDs, and STARs
• FBO and local airport-related business directory
• Interactive notepad for drawing or typing notes and copying clearances
• Ability to electronically close flight plans via network connection
• Sync and maintain digital pilot logbook
