I use index cards, Post-it notes, and stickies to organize my tasks, thoughts and ideas. It helps me see everything I care about at a glance. Taking them with me everywhere I go gets messy, and it's easy to lose them.

Put one idea on each card, and then organize the cards as you see fit on the table.

Shuffling the cards around, touching your ideas, and grouping them in different ways can help you better grasp the patterns and relations in your thinking.
