Kong Qiu, who was given the name Confucius by a western missionary lived in ancient China between 551 B.C. - 479 B.C.
In his teachings, known as "Confucianism" he did not pretend to be a prophet, but dedicated his whole life to save the mankind as a heavenly missionary. Confucius promised no great riches, no secrets for worldly power or fame. Instead of gold or glory, he spoke only of a dream. Confucius spoke and lived and dreamed of a world filled with happiness, good, and peace replacing a world filled with misery, evil, and war.
Through his writings, known as the Analects, Confucius presented ideas that earned him the name "The Greatest Master" within Chinese culture.
iConfucius brings together many of his teachings that still influence millions today, as they did over 2000 years ago.
