Application Description
Learn Chinese effectively!
This and the following apps are based on one of the best text books, the iChinese text book (http://www.ichinesestudy.org).
- iChinese-0, free app
- iChinese-k, super set of iChinese-0, for beginners
- iChinese-1, for people who know <300 Chinese Characters
- iChinese-2, for people who know <600 Chinese Characters
- iChinese-3, for people who know <1,000 Chinese Characters
The right hemisphere of a human’s brain has 1,000,000 times better capacity than the left hemisphere. iChinese correctly utlizes the right hemisphere of your brain to learn 1,500 Chinese characters, which overall will cover 95% of all newspapers and magazines in just 9 months.
To be successful, we recommend learning one lesson per week. The sequence below should be followed.
- Monday, teacher will use “Card” tab to explain pictures and phrases
- Tuesday, student will try to recognize phrases with pictures in random order, using the “Card” tab
- Wednesday, review and take quiz using the “Quiz” tab
- Thursday, student will try to recognize phrases WITHOUT picture in random order, using the “Card” tab
- Friday, try to recognize single words/characters using “Word” tab
- Saturday & Sunday, read using “Story” tab and review using other tabs
