Developed by the leading ICD-10 educator in the United States in collaboration with Bruce Scott, M.D., a practicing physician, surgeon, and clinical educator, the Precyse University Doc Talk app allows the user to listen to specialty-specific audio webinars designed to provide an overview of the impact ICD-10 will have on each specialty. These short audio webinars will look to educate you on the impacts within each specialty with specific focus on the documentation requirements needed for ICD-10 specificity. Each session will provide key disease and condition examples from that specialty and illustrate what documentation will be required for each disease. This app is perfect for physicians, physician assistants, Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists/Nurses, and other clinicians who will document or support the documentation of the medical record when ICD-10 arrives. Please note that all information provided not only offers valuable steps for a clinician to prepare for ICD-10, but also documentation strategies that can assist today in ICD-9. Adopting many of the examples and strategies contained within can improve documentation, reduce queries, drive medical necessity, and improve clinical care through specific and actionable data within the record.

Each session is only ten to fifteen minutes in length and we offer sessions on many of the most impacted specialties within an ICD-10 world. Upon installing, all audio webinars will be downloaded allowing you to listen to these sessions wherever you may be and not having to worry about streaming each time and the impact on your data usage. We will continue to produce additional audio webinars for other specialties and topics and will be provided in ongoing updates to keep you continually up-to-date on ICD-10 and what you can do to prepare.

This is a free resource providing easy access for Precyse University clients as well as the entire medical community. f you are interested in becoming a client or learning more about our comprehensive ICD-10 education solutions for hospitals, facilities, and physician offices, feel free to e-mail us at precyseu@precyse.com.

Note: The app is packages with all of the audio files for a better user experience and so that you can use the app offline (like in a hospital without connectivity). This make ICD-10 DocTalk about 100MB. Please make sure to download on a wi-fi connection.
