The Brazilian Wish Bracelet it is a 200 year tradition, they are worn as fashion accessory and good luck charm in Brazil and the last decade uncovered by the rest of the world.
The Brazilian Wish Ribbons or “Fitas do Senhor do Bonfim da Bahia” as they are known in Brazil, have been in existence for many years. It is believed that they were created around 1792.These bracelets are a symbol of faith and good luck!
The legend says all you need to do is tie the ribbon with 3 knots and make a wish for each of the 3 knots you tie. It is believed that once the Wish Ribbon falls off on its own the wishes will come true.
Under the iBonfim app you have 3 colors to choose by simply touching the color you want. After you have selected the color, you will need to touch the bracelet once to make the first knot and your first wish. Then, you repeat the same process for your second and third wish until the bracelet have 3 knots. The App shows all the bracelet disintegration process, losing brightness, and getting thinner until it breaks and falls off.
