Aromatherapy is based on the application of essential oils which are highly concentrated extracts of the essence of nature.
iAroma allows you to access aromatherapy information in two different ways: choose a condition from 53 physical conditions ranging from arthritis to wounds, 30 emotional conditions (such as anxiety or jealousy) or 18 therapeutic conditions (for example antiseptic or fungicidal) and iAroma will show you which oils can be used to remedy the situation, how to blend them and how to apply them.
Alternatively, select from 95 essential oils in an alphabetic list or a list categorised by 'aroma note' to learn more about the oil and for which conditions it may be used.
iAroma will provide you with botanical information, the 'aroma note' (helpful information allowing you to create your ultimate blend of oils) and the Latin name for any essential oil you select.
There is also a picture available and you can jump to the relevant article in Wikipedia with a single tap for additional information.
