Double tap anywhere on the map and it will tell you about all the aeronautical features where you just tapped. You can easily 'drill-down' to get all the information you need.

Charts

iAeronautical EFB has pre-loaded all of the Eurocontrol charts for licensed aerodromes. A full set of Instrument charts is included in the Pro version of the product.

Automatic Air Space Intersection Planner

As you enter waypoints for your flight, iAeronautical EFB automatically calculates the airspaces your flight plan will intersect with, and shows these real time on a special ‘vertical profile display’ at the bottom of the flight planning screen. You can immediately see if the altitude or route you have chosen will take you into controlled airspace, or through danger areas. You can step through the vertical profiles of each segment of your flight segment by segment.

Airspace Alerting & Terrain Advisory

iAeronautical EFB plots your forward trajectory real time, showing which airspaces and terrain lie ahead, and which airspaces are above and below. iAeronautical EFB includes a terrain database sampled to one third arc second resolution.

Intelligent Search

• Search for aerodromes, airspace, navaids, obstacles, waypoints, etc

Alternates & Diversions

Download Weather & NOTAMs

Download weather information and NOTAMs automatically and access them through the same interactive map. Wherever you see a weather bubble, a METAR or TAF has been downloaded. iAeronautical EFB automatically colour codes weather reports based on IFR/VFR conditions, and automatically decodes METAR and TAF reports.

Search for NOTAMs by route, by Flight Information Region (FIR), or by Country. Automatic NOTAM decoding.

Coverage

iAeronautical EFB's free download includes a database of the South East of the UK. You can also download terrain data for most of Europe without charge. You can subscribe to aeronautical databases by contacting iAeronautical. Databases are available for: the UK, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. Additional country databases are planned to be added during the summer of 2012.
