Hupple wants nothing more than to win Pupple's heart. To prove his love he has to collect all hearts and lay them down at her feet.
The bad part is that Pupple is a constantly jumping smiley and therefore a little bit limited in his freedom of movement. So he'll continue jumping in one direction until he hits a wall.
