hooood.com is home security on the web and in your smartphone where the traditional alarm center i replaced by an alarm community, consisting of people that you choose. hoooodApp is a mean to keep track of what is happening in your neighbourhood, take part of information and share information in order to create a safer and more secure surrounding.

As a non registered user you can, in the app, keep track of events that has been reported to the police e.g. burglary, theft, vandalism e.t.c. As a registered users you have also the possibility to report your own events and position those on the map, receive alarms when an event occurs in your neighbourhood. As an registered user you have also the possibility to install a hoooodCam, a network camera that provides live feeds directly to your smartphone and sends alerts when it detects movements in front of the lens. It is easy to share a cam you own with other users and they can then receive live feed and alarm from the cam as well. An Alarm can be sent, depending on your settings, as email, text message or notification. This is how your social network replaces the traditional alarm center.
