The Amharic Bible database is stored in native MY SQL and Sqlite relational database formats, it was created by parsing HTML files available at Bible.org. We are grateful to Bible.org and the Ethiopian Bible Society for making it available in electronic format. We also use the same database on our WongelAdvocate.com website.

The app is absolutely free, and will remain so for all future versions and upgrades. Our inspiration and command is the Word of God: "Freely you received, freely give" (Mat 10:8). This app is also free of any advertisements.

Now it is our duty, to make this as widely available as possible. This app does not need any Internet connections to operate.

This app runs on all iOS 6.0 and higher. Book list and titles are both in Amharic and English. On the pop-up list of books, a toggle is available to switch between Amharic/Ethiopia and English. You can use left/right swipes to change chapters. Bookmark verses you want to remember.
