Hitofusa no Budo is a Japanese Graded Reader (JGR) designed for intermediate students and a proficiency level equivalent to JLPT N4. The story utilizes a vocabulary of about 800 words and requires knowledge of some kanji. The grammar points include: kanou-kei, meirei-kei, ukemi-kei, ikou-kei, ~toki, ~tara, ~ba, ~nara, ~sou, ~you, fukugou doushi, etc.
