*** Released in partnership with Vodafone NZ for Maori Language Week 2012 ***

Hika is a fun and engaging language learning application where common phrases are broken down into interchangeable coloured tiles referred to as “chunks”. The user can explore a language category by swiping the language tiles to create a unique phrase followed by a one-tap translation.

The app allows for audio playback in both male and female voice and there is a section with fun and interesting facts about the Maori language and culture. You can also test what you’ve learnt in the ‘Self Test’ area.

Vodafone NZ has partnered with Hika Group to provide this Hika Lite application.
