HelpCast! is an app that is considered and emergency broadcasting system.
HelpCast! will be used in an emergency where 911 is not feasible.
HelpCast! is a system that is designed to send out a mass text/update to a list of previously selected contacts with a pre set message.
HelpCast! will also send an update to your Facebook page (if you choose to set that up)
It will also send a tweet to Twitter (if you choose to set this account up).
All of these messages/updates will be sent in a matter of seconds and will all be sent with your GPS location (if you choose to set this account up).
This means that not only will you be letting people know what is going on you will also be telling them where you were when you sent that text/update.
This can all be done in a maximum of 5 clicks (including opening the application) to as little as 3 clicks (including opening the application).
