Health Importer is a utility app that allows you to import data into your Health App. The import process works with data that is stored in the CSV (comma-separated value) file format.

This app is useful as a tool for a one-time import of data or for continuous updates. Duplicate entries are automatically detected and will be replaced instead of creating multiple copies for each data item entered. In addition, if you ever have a need you can easily remove all data that has been added via this app (without worry about losing any data entered via another app).

NOTE: This app does not store any data itself. It simply loads data from your CSV file and then places it into Health App, never saving it anywhere else. Your privacy and the security of your data is very important to us.

Data should be provided in columns that include at least (1) date/time column and then each type of tracked data (weight, bmi, etc) should be provided in separate columns.

- Blood Glucose (mg/dl or mmol/L)
- Blood Pressure Diastolic (mmHg)

- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Body Temperature (degF or degC)
- Cycling Distance (mi, km, m)
- Electrodermal Activity (Siemens)
- Flights / Steps Climbed (count)
- Forced Expiratory Volume, 1 sec (L)
- Forced Vital Capacity (L)
- Heart Rate (bpm)
- Height (in, ft, cm, m)
- Inhaler Usage (count)
- Lean Body Mass (lb, kg, g)
- NikeFuel (count)
- Number of Times Fallen (count)
- Oxygen Saturation (%)
- Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (L/min)
- Peripheral Perfusion Index (%)
- Respiratory Rate (breaths/min)
- Resting Calories (kcal, cal, kJ, or J)
- Steps (count)
- Walking + Running Distance (mi, km, m)

Dates can be entered with any of the following formats, along with a time in hh:mm:ss am format:

- mm/dd/yyyy
- mm/dd/yy
- yyyy/mm/dd
- yy/mm/dd
- dd/mm/yyyy
- dd/mm/yy

A new update is currently under development and includes the following:
- Support for "am/pm" as "a" or "p"
- Better labels for date formats
- Support for additional date/time formats

We are also taking requests for additional features. In future updates, we hope to add support for:

- Import a Health App export file (for transferring data from another phone)
- Allowing import of Sleep Analysis data (start & stop times for time in bed and time asleep)
