HD Media Control application provides a graphical user interface to all functions of the HD Remote Control System. Depending on your equipment you should be able to use your iPad to control any device connected to the HD Control Processor.

Please note that this application will not function without the HD Control Processor which is responsible for controlling 3rd party equipment via Ethernet, RS232, Infrared and switching relays. You will be able to install this application on as many iPads as you need (around your home or office) to control every automation system and electronic device that can communicate with the HD Control Processor.

For your protection every iPad running the HD Media Control software has to be paired with your HD Control Processor. This pairing ensures that no one will be able to access your automation systems even if security of your Wi-Fi network is compromised.

The first time you start the HD Media Control application you will be asked to provide an installation ID number to initiate the pairing with your HD Remote Control System. Instructions on how to obtain this number will be displayed on your screen. The entire process is fully automated and once you enter the correct installation ID number your HD Media Control application will become fully functional. Please note that one location may be issued with multiple installation ID numbers if different iPad devices are required to support different functionality (e.g. multiple areas or access restrictions).
