-HAQ (Health Assessment Questionnaires)
The Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) is administered and validated in patients with a wide varity of rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthristis, osteoarthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia, and psoriatic arthritis.
Those who have a positive result from the screening test will need further evaluation with subsequent diagnostic tests or procedures.

This tool does not provide medical advice. It is intended for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

The Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) was originally developed in 1978 by James F. Fries, MD, and colleagues at Stanford University.

-DAS(Disease Activity Score)

The Disease Activity Score (DAS) is an assessment used to measure the level of disease activity in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

The assessment involves the examination of joints for swelling and tenderness, a review of recent blood test results and a one-to-one consultation between the patient and healthcare professional.  The results are then combined to produce a score which indicates how active the rheumatoid arthritis is at that particular time and can be used to guide decisions on future treatment.
